Christian Eriksen makes his comeback as a professional football player on Saturday: “He will come on the field during Brentford-Newcastle”

“Christian Eriksen is in the squad and will come on the field.” Brentford coach Thomas Frank told this at his press conference prior to Saturday’s game (4 p.m.) against Newcastle.

Last summer, Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark’s opening match at the European Championship. In Italy it is forbidden to play with a defibrillator and as a result he was unable to continue his career at Inter. In mid-December, Eriksen’s contract in Milan was dissolved by mutual agreement, after which he signed a contract with Brentford this winter. He could make his comeback as a professional footballer for the London club on Saturday.
