Motorsport: Three drivers awarded the FPAK White Card
The FPAK Board decided to distinguish Armindo Araújo, Francisco Barreto and Carlos Silva with the ‘White Card’ for their sporting and ‘fair play’ conduct in recent competitions.
The White Card is a pedagogical resource that aims to praise ethically correct conduct, practiced by those involved in sports activities. The White Card is the result of a partnership between the PNED – National Plan for Ethics in Sport (Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, IPDJ) and the FPAK.
The distinction to Armindo Araújo has to do with his conduct in the victories and in the ‘defeats’ that should be praised above all for what we have seen recently both in the Rally Terras D’Aboboreira and in the Vodafone Rally of Portugal.
Francisco Barreto and Carlos Silva played a leading role in providing immediate assistance to an opposing duo in Baja de Loulé, invoking an enormous sense of mutual help that should be praised.
